You might even be a bedroom music producer, and need more visual landscape to be able to work on complex music files.
These days, unless your hard drive crashes and burns, there really is no need to upgrade. These drives have copious amounts of room on them, and you also have the option of storing photos, music and personal files on portable hard drives to keep space free on the main drive.
The question really is this: Is it necessary to go out and spend the money on a new computer, or will a simple computer upgrade do the trick?
If the upgrade solves your dilemma, then go for it. If it doesn’t, then buying a new computer is your best bet.
